The mandala — a round kaleidoscope or mirror image — is as old as time. Carl Jung was the first European to recognize the powerful symbolism and spiritual significance of this ancient art form. He used mandalas for meditation and therapy, and maintained that their radial symmetry helps tap into our collective subconscious.
